Bartlett’s own site, stevenbartlett.com, collects nothing: no newsletter, no popup, just a timeline, press and four enquiry email addresses. The selling happens on other domains. The DOAC Shop sells the diary and the cards and gives away guides for an email, his two newsletters (Behind the Diary, his Sunday letter, and the DOAC newsletter) each have their own site, and Flightcast sells podcast software to other shows.

His Facebook ads run under three names: “Steven Bartlett”, “The Diary of a CEO” and “OnePercent”, often as partnership ads that put his name and photo on someone else’s post. Most of what runs from The Diary of a CEO page is sponsors: ketone drinks, a travel kit, a dictation app, each written in his first person. His newsletters are advertised as Facebook instant forms that sign people up without leaving the app.
