Understand Myself Ad — “I could never understand my father.”
Why it works
A story about testing someone else. It ends on “it is also useful to have people in your life do the test”, which is the case for the $19.90 two-pack before the visitor has seen it. The link in the copy is a bit.ly that goes to the site’s homepage, not to the sales page the video ad uses.

In some ways, I could never understand my father. It was hard to get him to be enthusiastic. He did the test, Understand Myself, and that's how I found out that he is really low in enthusiasm, but he is high in assertiveness, the two components of extraversion. This helped me better understand his temperament. It's useful to understand yourself, but it is also useful to have people in your life do the test. You can find out really interesting things about them. You can find the program here: http://bit.ly/understand_myself
